Ostbahnhof - station facilities

I%26#39;m staying 1 night in Munich between christmas and new year. I have chosen a hotel near Ostbahnhof. I want to skip hotel breakfast to save money and wondered if there are many shops, bakeries, cafe%26#39;s etc at Ostbahnhof and nearby?
