A train ticket question

Hi there. I have a question on my train ticket. THis may sound liek a silly question, but I am not sure if tehre are rules to the ticket. Hope someone can help me here.

I purchased a train ticket for my journey from Berlin to Munich.

Train departs Berlin at 548am and there is one change in Leipzig at 7am before heading to Munich.

WIll it be ok to take a break in the journey in Leipzig for say 5 hours and catch the later train to Munich? I am not sure if there are restrictions.

Is this allowed?

Depends on the type of ticket.

With a standard fare (113,00 EUR) ticket this is possible.

Discounted specials (e.g. the Dauer-Spezial) are however only good for the connection bought for.
