I too, will be planning a trip to Rose Barracks in December. My son may not be able to come home to the states during christmas. We may have to go see him. The info given is very helpful. I will be flying to Nuernberg, maybe renting a car, or riding in on the train. My son says there is a hotel on base and hopefully we can stay there. Thanks for the info I have read about Vilsect.
