Anyone who will be in Berlin on the weekend after the U.S. national holiday of Thanksgiving should try to attend the %26quot;Voices of Gratitude%26quot; - Thanksgiving Benefit Dinner and Concert. This is an annual event hosted by American Church in Berlin (ACB). This is really a one of a kind evening. The community of ACB who represent about 25 nations, open their doors to welcome over 300 guests for a traditional Thanksgiving dinner followed by a concert that is fantastic. The performers span the range from talented amatuers to professionals who have performed all over the world singing everything from opera to gospel, jazz, folklore even some %26quot;unplugged%26quot; rock. This year the event will be on Saturday, November 28th, 2009. If you plan to be in Berlin around that time- check it out! FYI- You need reservations well in advance because they always get booked out.

I had the chance to attend the Thanksgiving dinner and concert last year. It was a nice setting, a good mix of music and a delicious american style dinner! This is a nice way to express our gratitude and by the way support social projects.
