single female, first visit - Botticelli show- a good hotel?

I%26#39;ve never been to Germany before, but I%26#39;m seriously thinking about going when the Botticelli exhibition opens. I know a little German, but I%26#39;m just wondering what would be a nice hotel or even a bed and breakfast to stay at that would be at least near public transit if not within walking distance of the Staedel art museum?

I am excited about the Boticelli show too! For anyone else that is interested, this special exhibit takes place from 13 Nov. til 28 Feb. at the Staedel, Frankfurts Art Museum. This is the first major exhibition of Boticelli in Germany and will present 80 works by the master, his workshop and his contemperories. On to hotels and B%26amp;B%26#39;s. You didn%26#39;t say what your budget was. This might be a nice one. It is near the Staedel and looks lovely.

There are trade fairs that raise prices in Frankfurt, so if you use a search service like www.hrs.com you will get higher prices for during trade fair dates.

While here, you might also be interested in going to the Liebig Haus, which is the museum for sculpture, or over to the Schirn where they are having an exhibit called %26quot;Art for the Millions%26quot;, presenting 100 sculptures from the Mao era. This is the first time this exhibit has traveled outside of China! 24 Sept.- 3 Jan.

Thanks. I am not necessarily looking for luxury, but something a little nicer than basic comforts AND a certain degree of proximity to the Stadel.

The Staedel is on the Sachsenhausen side of the river, so not quite as many hotels over there, but Frankfurt is pretty walkable and the public transportation system is really easy to use.
