Gemäldegalerie Alte Meister, Dresden

Im keen in visiting the Gemäldegalerie Alte Meister .

I%26#39;ll be in Berlin in late Nov. Or is it way tooo short for Dresden ;;)

I made the mistake of buying a direct train ticket from Berlin to Munich. Forgot all about visiting Dresden.

Now that i cant change that, will a day trip be a good idea?

Will it be possible to do a day trip (and back to Berlin)?

We are visiting Dresden on a day trip from Berlin next month. 2 hours each way by train which is about the max amount of time we are willing to travel on a day trip. We%26#39;ll spend a full day there and very much look forward to it.
