There may be snow in Munich, maybe not. Nobody can predict this.

However yu%26#39;ll certainly find snow in the Alps. I was on a hiking tour on Tuesday and even on the sunny southern side we had a lot of snow (50 cm and more) starting at an altitude of 1700m. We needed our snowshoes to get further up. On the top at 2200m we found more than 1m snow.

All Christmas markets in Munich: muenchen.de/Rathaus/…Christmas_Markets.html

My favourite ones are:

Medieval Christmas Market (everything is medieval, a lot of handmade articles like leather bags, bows+arrows, everybody dressed in medieval clothes, even the prices are in Gulden, 1 Gulden = 1 Euro)

Brienner Str. 6-10 (near subway station Odeonsplatz on subway line U3, U6, U4, U5, 10 minute walk from Marienplatz)

mittelaltermarkt-muenchen.de/web/index.html…

open: 11am - 8pm

Schwabing Christmas Market (artistic, a bit mad)

on the square above subway station Münchner Freiheit (subway line U3, U6)

schwabingerweihnachtsmarkt.de/index_en.html

Haidhausen Christmas Market (with pony carriage rides for children)

on the square above S-Bahn stop %26quot;Rosenheimer Platz%26quot; (all S-Bahn lines stop there)

photos of that market: muenchen.de/Stadtleben/…index.html

Try Garmisch - lovely small town and great views. Also Mittenwald, two hours by train from Munich. Garmisch is in between so you can visit both in one day.
