I%26#39;ll be in Frankfurt for 4 days 3 nights. The 1st day on arrival, i%26#39;ll just exploring Frankfurt itself. Then second day plan to go to Heidelberg. However no idea where should i go for the third day and fourth day? Can anyone please suggest it? how about Wiesbaden and Koblenz or Mainz? Any nice suggestion?
Besides that what%26#39;s the cheapest ticket should i get if i want to get to those places? i%26#39;ve heard about Rhineland-Palatinate Ticket. Is it a day ticket and which area does it covered?
Thanks ...

If you want a romantic little old university town, IMHO twice a s pretty as Heidelberg but half as touristy, have a look at Marburg: http://www.marburg.de/detail/24698

When will you be arriving here? You might want to leave more than just your arrival day to explore Frankfurt, depending on what your interests are. Many people need a minimum of 2 days just for the museums, galleries, churches and historic sites, let alone exploring any of the neighborhoods or shopping.
Marburg is a great idea. Consider Wuerzburg too. Mainz is lovely and the cathedral there is impressive as well as their Roman ruins. There are many towns along the Rhein or in the Taunus mountains that are interesting. Perhaps get a good map out and take a look, visit some of the online tourist info sites for some of these places.

Thanks for your suggestion.
But is it worth for a one day trip? I am actually looking for a place that i can spent one whole day walking around.
If I am going to Heidelberg from Frankfurt.. Can I buy Baden-Württemberg-Ticket? it said that EUR 28 for 2 person. I think it%26#39;s cheaper in that way.
Thanks .

I will arrive in Frankfurt by tomorrow noon. Not so into museums, but will certainly go for churches and some historic sites.
how about Koblenz? I%26#39;ve check the train ticket from Frankfurt to Koblenz, it%26#39;s about EUR 44 ++ . If I take train to Mainz then from Mainz I buy a Rhineland-Palatinate ticket, would it be better?
many Thanks.
