frankfurt one night stay

Hi,

I%26#39;m arriving in Frakfurt airport at around 6-7pm 1st of December and train to Paris next day. Need one night accommodation at Frankfurt. I%26#39;m travelling with three daughters (15, 12 %26amp; 10) and having a great trouble finding a right place to stay.

I guess my trouble is to find a budge place to stay but also safe and convenient. I don%26#39;t mind near airport or centre as long as we can easily get there by public transport or the hotel has a shuttle service. We%26#39;ll have luggages so easy access will be preferrable (eg, direct line, no change of trains, walking distance etc).

I%26#39;ve been reading the posts and searching through booking websites, but so far my conclusions are...1. airport hotels usually offer shuttle service but more expensive, 2. city hotels close to the train station are cheaper but could be noisy and safety can be an issue, 3. it is dificult to find a hotel with family room which can accommodate all four of us in one, 4. if I want to achieve all the comfort, safety and convenience, it%26#39;s over my budget (max 140euro).. Can any one direct me to a suitable one? Many thanks!

Veronica

The Bahnhof area may be seedy, but safety is not really an issue. The sex stores would be disturbing for your daughters though, so it would be better to stay in other areas. Public transportation is easy to use and if you buy a group ticket from the airport for 14 euro, you can use it to travel around in Frankfurt that evening too if you like. The Christmas market will be on, so your daughters should like that.

Try looking here. The Jugenderberge should have some family rooms, it is located on the river, so has a great view and it should be reasonable.

or try one of the B%26amp;Bs to see if they have more space, or a 2 bedroom.
