We are looking at going to Wolfsburg for the day whilst we are in Hannover at the end of November. Train tickets on the bahn.de website look quite expensive, about 30Euros each, anyone got any top tips on buying tickets that might save us a few Euro?

Use regional trains. Select at the DB timetable as means of transport %26quot;only local transport%26quot; for this.
You can use a Lower Saxony Ticket (Niedersachsen Ticket) for this trip. EUR 28,00 for 2-5 persons. A day ticket covering all regional trains in the state Lower Saxony. In Hannover it covers also the trams and buses. The ticket is valid
Mo-Fr: from 9am till 3am next day
Sa,Su: from midnight till 3am next day
