travelling from frankfurt airport to hanover train station

I am travelling to hanover via frankfurt. Is there a direct train from the airport to hanover? Or what is the easiest route to hanover?

switch to the English version

Input your departure as Frankfurt Flughafen and your destination as Hannover (Hbf)

input your dates and put the time of departure as 0600

Hit search and the trains between the two points will come up

If you want a later train than the several which will be shown, hit %26quot;later%26quot; for a longer list

Thanks Intrepid. I can make reservations but its expensive 236 euros for return journey for 2 people. Is this the norm? Or it there a cheaper way to travel? I checked the local trains from this site but it wasn%26#39;t much cheaper - 186 euros for a 5 hour journey compared to the express at 2 hours.

Have you already bought your flight tickets? If not you can check if you can buy Rail%26amp;Fly tickets together with your flight tickets.

If you use regional trains you can use the Quer-durchs-Land-Ticket. EUR 39,00 for 2 persons. This ticket covers all regional trains in Germany and is valid Mo-Fr from 9am till 3am next day

If this is on a Sa or Su use the Happy-Weekend-Ticket. EUR 37,00 for 2 persons. Valid either Sa or Su from midnight till 3am next day. This ticket coves additionally the trams and buses in Hannover.
